V.G.C. Maker marked Royal Works Owen & Co (Bow) Ltd and stamped Paymaster Commander which was a Royal Navy rank until 1944. The chin strap has become detached on one side. Small pin holes to front and rear where badges have been attached and a small hole to the front right of the rim. Bristol Arts Centre has also been written on the interior. |

He was one of Napoleon's most loyal Marshal's and Napoleon made him the Duke of Taranto. Marshal Etienne MacDonald's grandfather had fought at Culloden and afterwards fled to France. His family were Jacobite's and his father was a close friend of Flora MacDonald the Jacobite Heroine.
Some light staining to print. 11 inches x 8 inches .COLLECTION ONLY DUE TO GLASS FRAME.
